SHGL and its affiliates ("we" or "our") are committed to maintaining the privacy of users who access www.shgl.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy Statement (the "Privacy Policy") explains the types of information we gather and what we do with it. By using the Site, you agree to the terms and policies described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use  

Portions of the Site may allow users to make online requests for information, submit comments regarding SHGL operations, register for certain services online, or inquire about opportunities for employment or other business transactions with SHGL.  These portions of the site will require the user to provide personally identifiable contact information. SHGL uses the information you provide for the purposes stated at the point of collection. For example, SHGL routes the information internally to the individual or department best able to respond to your inquiry, and uses your contact information to respond to or follow-up regarding your inquiry. SHGL does not maintain a central database of user information obtained from users who have requested information from SHGL.

(a) Sharing of Information. SHGL  does not sell or rent personally identifiable user information collected about or from our users. SHGL needs the information Registered Users supply to enable Registered Users to track shipments, view outstanding charges payable to SHGL and obtain other user-specific information. In addition, SHGL may use such information (i) for demographic profiling, ad targeting, statistical analysis, to conduct surveys and similar marketing activities; (ii) to notify Registered Users about important changes to its site or promotions or opportunities; and (iii) to investigate violations of either its Privacy Policy or its "Terms of Use."

(b) Cookies. The Site does not use cookies.

(c) Web Traffic Monitoring. SHGL uses analytical software to track page views, user sessions, IP addresses, general geographic location of visitors, and similar information regarding the use of the web site in an effort to understand how visitors experience the Site and how we may improve the Site. SHGL does not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that your session will be logged, but you remain anonymous to us. SHGL may use IP addresses to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with the Site's Terms of Use or to protect our service, the Site, our customers or others, or in response to requests or subpoenas by law-enforcement authorities.

SHGL respects the privacy of users of www.shgl.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Statement discloses how we collect and use information on the Site, and the choices that you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

Security

SHGL stores information received from Registered Users on secure computers. Only a small number of SHGL employees and/or contractors of SHGL have physical access to these computers. SHGL uses firewalls and other security technology to prevent SHGL computers from being accessed by unauthorized persons.

While SHGL has taken measures to protect Registered Users' information, please know that (i) no computer system is immune from intrusion; and (ii) information transmitted to the Site may need to pass through many systems in order to process such information. Therefore, SHGL cannot guarantee the absolute security or confidentiality of information transmitted to the Site.

Miscellaneous Provisions

 (a) Links to Other Sites. The Site contains links to other web sites. Each of these linked web sites maintains its own independent privacy policies. SHGL does not control and is not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of those web sites. When you leave the Site and access the web sites of third parties, the privacy policies of the parties maintaining those web sites apply.

(b) Disclaimer of Liability. Under no circumstances shall SHGL, its parent Swan & Hercules Global Logistics (USA) LLC., nor any subsidiary or affiliate be liable for any damages, including, but not limited to, special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, that result from the use of the information or materials posted to or collected as a result of the user's access of the Site, even if SHGL has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This and the other sections in the Privacy Statement should be read in conjunction with and are subject to the Terms of Use.

SHGL may alter, update or otherwise change this Privacy Policy at any time. Any such changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of such changes will indicate your full acceptance of those changes.
